Parallels Desktop 17 for Mac, now a universal binary application, is optimized for the highly anticipated Windows 11 and macOS Monterey operating systems. Bringing exceptional speed and graphic improvements, it includes an enhanced Windows gaming experience, together with better resource management and visibility. Parallels Desktop 17 for Mac empowers users to run Windows applications on a Mac, more smoothly and faster than ever.
Parallels Desktop 17 for Mac Standard, Pro and Business Editions are all designed to offer an optimal experience on both M1- and Intel-based Mac computers, and can be purchased at parallels.com/desktop or from authorized resellers worldwide. Parallels Desktop subscriptions include complimentary concurrent subscriptions to Parallels Access 6.5 and Parallels Toolbox 5 for Mac and Windows.
To run Windows 11 on your M1 Mac, you will have to download and install Parallels Desktop 17 app from its official website. The app comes with a 14-day free trial, after which you will have to get its paid version to use it. The app costs $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99 for the Pro Edition. For most users, a standard license will be enough. That said, you should check the feature comparison chart on the official website to see which edition is best suited for your needs.
All editions of Parallels Desktop 16 for Mac (Standard Edition, Pro Edition and Business Edition) are available now for purchase either online at parallels.com/desktop (which also offers free full-featured 14-day trials for new users) or from retail and online stores worldwide. Parallels Desktop subscriptions include complimentary concurrent subscriptions to Parallels Toolbox for Mac and Windows and Parallels Access, which are also separately available to all PC and Mac users as standalone products for free trials and subscriptions.
Current Parallels Desktop for Mac customers (any edition) can get upgrade pricing for Parallels Desktop 16 online at parallels.com/desktop-upgrade. New customers can download free trials and purchase at parallels.com/desktop. Pricing details follow below:
So I need to download an ISO or VHDX file of Windows 10 Pro for ARM architecture for college. I use a mac with the M1 processor but the download pages for Microsoft windows only offer windows 11 arm and not windows 10 arm. I previously used Windows 10 Pro and have a digital license, but need the edition for arm architecture to run in my virtual machine software.
The problem that I have is, I downloaded Win 10 Insider preview 10.0.21382.1000 (co_release) [arm64]. I could installed in my macbook pro M1 using parallels, but it said that the build is expired. Install a new build of windows now. The 21390 build is hasn't Internet Explorer 11 (was removed). I need it to run a banking site. I dont know what to do.
The list of changes is significant, starting by making it easier to install Windows 11 on Intel-based Macs with a single click. You can now download and install a Windows 11 VM more easily, but this still won't work for Apple M-series Macs because Microsoft doesn't officially distribute installation files for Arm-based versions of Windows. For that, you still have to download the latest build from the Windows Insider website. However, M-series Macs also have a new capability, so you can choose what edition of Windows 11 you want to install during setup.
